Is that a tree in my parking spot?

Technically I don't live on this block...yet. I sure do take a lot of pictures here though. My guess is that the vagrants came home to their stoop one night and thought it'd be funny to rip this tree out of the ground. It looks like it just popped out. The base of it's trunk looks like a Q-Tip.

At any rate it's been there for a week and if I did live on the block I'd be pissed about the lost parking spot.



Looks like it may have just rotted?
